Window Options

Replacement Windows

Replacement windows are installed within your existing window frame. There is nothing wrong with this method and is very cost effective and relatively more affordable than a full frame replacement. Installing replacement windows, your existing interior and exterior trim is left intact and we apply a custom site bent aluminum cladding on your existing exterior window trim. Our aluminum wrap comes in a very wide range of colors and comes in a smooth or textured finish. In most instances, we can use a special tool that forms a detail in the aluminum, giving the aluminum trim more of a detailed and “custom” look. Insulation is added in any gaps and the interior and the exterior of the unit is sealed using a high-quality caulk.

Full Frame Replacement Windows

Full frame replacement windows are a new construction window. This installation gives you the best energy efficiency because the new window unit can be insulated between the existing framing and the new window unit. This method does come at a greater cost because typically it will require siding to be modified or removed on the exterior of your home and new trim and touch up painting on the interior of your home.

How to decide which window is right for you?

We typically ask our customers how long they predict they’ll be living in the home. If you plan to be in your home for 10 or more years, you may want to consider the full frame replacement. If price is a big factor and you plan to only be in your home a few years, we would definitely recommend the replacement windows.
